Yes! it's the return of Wild Gamer! Where have I been? Lazy! That's right I just haven't felt like updating this, but now I'm bored so I gotta do something with all this spare time. For my first post back guess I'll give you guys a sum of my gaming for the past few god knows when.
So I've been playing some random games here and there. Nabbed inFAMOUS from the Playstation network when it came back up and I played that for a good few hours. Afterwards I checked out the sequel which was very well done in my opinion. I actually took a break from World of Warcraft to try a few other MMO's. I tried out the APB Reloaded beta which was fun for awhile but the game is a bit of a mess. I can't see that game coming out to retail any time soon. Game lacks direction and can be a pain to find out whats going on. It's also very huge on team play so if you like doing MMO's solo then you'll be very disappointed. However, if you like customizing then you'll have a blast creating different logo's and messing around with your characters wardrobe.
After that I played Dungeons and Dragons Online. This one is much more solid that APB. If you're looking to substitute WoW with something else this would be a good one to try. Now it's free to play but if you want more options your going to have to put in a little cash to unlock character races and classes. I dumped in a little bit so I could try the Monk class and I was having a blast with it. Graphics are clean and the game play is solid.
My most recent purchase was a Nintendo 3DS. I bought it about a week ago and didn't get any games at first. I purchased a 20 dollar E-Shop card and nabbed Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX, Super Mario Land, and some other ones. Those held me over for awhile until the Ocarina of Time remake hit shelves. I want to talk about Ocarina of Time later to give a so far impression of the game. I'm up to the Water Temple (dear god no!) and gathered a few of the side items already. So prepare tonight for I will return! Again!
