Good afternoon and welcome back to another exciting post of AWGA. Yes I did skip yesterday and no I’m not going to apologize.
If you’ve been paying attention to the Game Developers Conference then you would have seen the new Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword trailer. Trailer shows off plenty of sword play, some mini-games, a boss, and of course the mysterious person. Watch it below since I now know how to post videos from the interwebs
Shacknews has discovered that there will be a Mortal Kombat demo coming out this month! This is exciting since that I want to make sure this version doesn’t suck compared to the last one. Mortal Kombat vs. DC left a very foul taste in my mouth. Shack has the demo listed for PS3 owners to be released on the 8th for Plus users and 15th for normal users. 360 owners are out of luck as there is no official release date for it. From 1up.com they have an interesting article regarding Mirrors Edge. Frank Gibeau, the head hancho for EA games has stated that they haven’t abandoned the poor series and that in fact they are working on ideas for creating new games. From some of his statements they are trying to find ways to make the sequel a hit (aka their trying to make sure they make money off of it.)
