Well while I was out it seems like the industry got the ball rolling. Finally, I seriously thought that the news sites were fiddling with and/or sucking their thumbs today. Well let’s see what I found in the tall grass today. Pidgey? Got like ten of those… Oh here’s a good one!
Today Sony has officially announced their gaming cell phone, Xperia Play (Sony for the love of all that is holy how do you even pronounce that?) The report comes in from IGN’s coverage of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (hope they brought lots of sun block, some of those guys are as white as an egg) and they talked about game lineup and specs for the system. One thing I like about this thing is that it isn’t nearly as ugly as the N-Gage was. I’m worried about memory capacity since the Xperia only has 400 mb’s onboard. Come on Sony, the PSP Go had 16 gigs inside you couldn’t fit more into something that looks almost the same? For more info click here for more cell phone goodness.
Earlier today I posted some information on some sidescrolling shooters from Japan; well I happened across Game Trailers tonight and discovered that they have some videos up on the main page, just under their GT TV Episode 404. If you want to check it out I suggest hoping over to www.gametrailers.com real quick and taking a peak.
Kotaku is celebrating the Legend of Zelda birthday (Happy birthday fairy boy) and so is this awesome artist who goes by ag+. Kotaku show cases this amazing piece of art designed by ag+ that can’t be described by words. If this was made in the Reissuance area, he would put all those other famous artists to shame. To shame I say! Now this image is huge so I warn ye out there with limited bandwith to use caution if you choose to download this, but the image can be found both at Kotaku's site and at The original artists page
That’s it for this evening. Well, at least when it comes to the news part. At midnight mountain time (Actually in Arizona who knows, we don’t follow daylight savings) I will present to you my grand masterpiece! That’s what I would like to call it but eh who knows? My overview of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be out shortly. Tune in next time to the exciting conclusion of Dra… I mean… A Wild Gamer Appears!
