Late Night Training! 2/22/11

Late night! Sorry for not updating earlier but I was stuck behind the Safari Zone for awhile. Stupid sheriff… Anyways let’s get to the news!

For the first time I’ll actually have some Pokemon news on this blog despite the blog name. GameStop is going to start allowing you to download Celebi from their download stations from now till March 6th. If you want this elusive son of a gun you’re going to have to head over to your closes GameStop and do a simple mystery gift. IGN has an article if you want to do a little more reading. Go Go Gadget Hyperlink!

Kotaku has a little number on their site once again about the Zelda 25th Anniversary, but this isn’t a friendly reminder of all the great games in the series. This is a horrible reminder of the nightmare’s that came out on the Phillips CD-1. This compilation of the worst Zelda games is a reminder of why Nintendo doesn’t licenses out there games to just any one anymore. To check it out click this link, if you want your eyes to bleed.

Now this isn’t exactly video game news, but being an iPhone owner I thought this was an interesting device. I saw it over at ThinkGeek.com and I thought it was a great answer to the problem of the digital D-pad. JOYSTICK-IT iPad Arcade Stick is an awesome little stick that attaches to your iPad or iPhone (Honestly with its size its more for the iPad) and isn’t suppose to leave a sticky residue or do anything bad to your device. Now I want this because the digital pad annoys me. Playing Sonic 2 was almost impossible because trying to hop on small platforms was terrible do to the lack of control I had over the D-pad. This is the hyperlink! Hyper, Link!

That’s it for the news. I’m thinking of launching my World of Warcraft article tomorrow night. Yes this blog is new and I’m already having delays. You can blame the Snorlax that was blocking the path home. Good night all!
