Random Encounter 2/22/11

Behold! It’s another day in the life of a Wild Gamer, and I am here to bring you the information you seek. (And if you’re not seeking it then you should have turned left at the stop sign)

Plenty of reviews to be had today! Bulletstorm was released today so IGN felt it appropriate to do a review today.  Also on their DS page there is a review for Dragon Quest VI, one of the few Dragon Quest games to never make it to America. Good ole Square-Enix bringing us more RPGs to lose our souls too. If you want to find out more then check out IGN.com for more details.

Over at Gamasutra the line up for the Nintendo 3DS has been officially revealed. I find it funny though that all this games where already lined up for launch by game stores reservation sheets. Unfortunately we won’t be seeing the N64 remakes or the Mario Kart game right away but there are a few titles in the list that look entertaining. If you want to see the full list head over to the list page for more delectable 3D goodness.

Feel like there hasn’t been enough controversy in the gaming industry lately? Surprise! Months before the release of the new Call of Juarez: The Cartel Mexico’s legal system is already calling for a ban of the game. In Chihuahua where the city of Juarez is located already passed the request for the game to be denied in their limits. I almost don’t blame them; with a record high violent crime and just about 6,000 people died in ’09 I wouldn’t want to remind my people about how bad life is down there. If you wish to learn more about the situation check out Shack News article at this link here.

That’s it for now! Check back tonight for the evening update. And a little teaser for my next article I’ll be doing a talent build guide for my favorite World of Warcraft class. I hope you all will enjoy it. Till then, I’ve got some Rattata that need some exterminating…
